Three people are hospitalized after being hit by a car in Phoenix Friday afternoon.
Authorities were called to the area of 48th Street and McDowell Road after receiving reports of a crash involving pedestrians.
According to a police spokesperson, two cars were involved in an accident in the area. After the cars collided, one of them continued forward and struck two pedestrians.
The victims suffered serious, not non-life threatening injuries during the incident.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
