New court information reveals that two Phoenix police officers were indicted for allegedly tampering with evidence after spraying a homeless woman with pepper spray.

The incident happened in May of 2015 after officers Christopher Tiona and Logan Egnor responded to the area of 31st Avenue and McDowell Road.

Police body camera footage recorded the officers attempting to coax the woman off the property. The incident led to a minutes-long confrontation between the woman and two officers.

While the woman was yelling obscenities at the officers, Egnor allegedly responded by pepper spraying her, according to police reports.

Court paperwork said that the officers also tampered with a GPS in order to make their stories match up. Both officers remain on administrative, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
