PHX gas station clerk held at gunpoint for cash

Police are looking for a man responsible for pointing a gun at a Phoenix gas station clerk while demanding money from the register.

According to Silent Witness, the suspect approached the Fry's station clerk on Monday, Feb 22 around 9:45 p.m. The incident took place near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road. 

The suspect pointed a gun at the clerk before entering the kiosk and asking for cash.

The clerk put money in a small trash can and the suspect was able to flee with it.

The incident was caught on camera and police were able to get a description of the suspect. He is said to be a black man in his early twenties, around 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. He had a chrome revolver.
