The Phoenix Fire Department says a two vehicle crash near 40th Street and Raymond has sent four children to the hospital.
The crash happened just after 1 p.m. Saturday at the Shell Gas Station and involved two vehicles.
Phoenix fire had originally reported as many as ten kids were involved in the crash, but now say only four were transported to the hospital as a precaution.
The children, two 10-year-olds and two 11-year-olds, were said to be in stable condition when they were taken from the scene.
Phoenix firefighters did not immediately know if the four were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
More details on status of the patients and what led up to the crash have not been released.
