A pedestrian is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle near Grand Canyon University on Saturday afternoon.
According to Phoenix police, the incident happened near 35h Avenue and Camelback Road.
Police say the pedestrian was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers. Impairment is not being considered a factor in the crash, police say.
