PHOENIX — A man was seriously hurt during a shooting outside of a Phoenix home Thursday night.
Police were called to a home near 19th Avenue and Cactus Road around 11:40 p.m. after the shooting occurred.
Officials say a man and woman were walking out of a home to their vehicle in the driveway when an unknown suspect shot towards the home. The man was hit by the gunfire but the woman was not hurt.
Police say the man, who is said to be 51 years old, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
