PD: Suspect arrested in multiple armed robberies

A 30-year-old man was arrested after police suspected he was behind multiple armed robberies that happened throughout the Valley earlier this month. 

Leo Orlando Arredondo was sought out by police after he was suspected of threatening clerks and demanding money, sometimes at gunpoint, at Subway restaurants and Chevron gas stations around the Valley.

The incidents happened between Feb. 5 and Feb. 10 and may have continued since the information was first released by police. 

Surveillance video and pictures released allegedly show Arredondo talking with a Subway employee before casually pulling out a gun. 

Police will know in the nearby future just how many crimes the man was linked to.
