Three people were taken to the hospital after two vehicles collided in Phoenix Saturday.
The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. near 19th Avenue and Thomas Road.
Phoenix fire crews tell ABC15, a woman in her 20s suffered life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, also a woman in her 20s, is in serious condition.
The other driver, a 53-year-old man, was also hurt in the crash.
There were many broken bones from the incident but those who were injured are expected to be okay, fire officials later said.
The intersection was closed while crews worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
