One person has been detained after officers received a report of a shot fired in downtown.
Phoenix police said it happened in the area of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office headquarters at 5th Avenue and Jackson Street on Tuesday morning.
According to police, a suspect was detained and officers are working to see if a shot was actually fired or if any other crimes were committed.
No injuries were reported.
