A Pinal County Sheriff's Office deputy is on administrative leave after being arrested Friday night at a Phoenix home.
Sources tell ABC15 that 26-year-old Derek Lynse entered a home near 47th Avenue and Bell Road without permission and assaulted a man inside. Lynse and the victim have had previous domestic issues, sources said.
Phoenix police confirmed Lynse was taken into custody around 9:30 p.m. on a charge of domestic violence criminal trespass.
Lynse, who was booked into the Maricopa County Jail, has been placed on leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation, PCSO said.
No further details were immediately available.
