Phoenix Police officers have sealed off a large area near 27th Avenue and Orange Drive after a deadly shooting.
When officers arrived they found a car had crashed into a nearby apartment building at the scene north of Camelback Road.
A man in his late 20's was pronounced dead on the scene and a large area has been blocked off with crime scene tape.
Police say the victim was in his car and had gotten into an argument with people in another vehicle. Someone in the other car opened fire and shot the victim. The man tried to drive away and crashed into a nearby apartment.
Officers on the scene say it's unclear at this point whether the impact of the crash or the gunshot wound killed the victim.
