PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in north Phoenix Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near 31st Avenue and Bell Road around 4 p.m.
Police say a 27-year-old woman driving a Dodge Charger was trying to make a left turn when she failed to yield to a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist collided with her vehicle, throwing the rider and causing fatal injuries.
Officials have only identified the victim as a 51-year-old man.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and showed no signs of impairment. Speed is being investigated as a possible factor in the crash.
