PHOENIX — Police say a 27-year-old man is facing second degree murder charges after he stabbed and killed his twin brother Friday night.

Officers say Christian Piedra stabbed his brother, Bryan, after the two got into a dispute at their apartment near 15th and Peoria avenues.

Bryan was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to Phoenix Police Detective Luis A. Samudio.

Samudio said officers took Christian into custody without incident. The cause of the dispute is under investigation.
