PD: Man dead, stabbed at 16th Street/Indian School bus stop

A man has been arrested for allegedly killing a man in central Phoenix.

Phoenix police said officers responded to 16th Street and Indian School Road on Sunday afternoon for a report of a stabbing. 

According to police, 42-year-old Santino Eppinger was at a bus stop when he got into an argument with 36-year-old Andrew Rivas. 

Police said Rivas stabbed the victim and ran from the scene. 

Eppinger was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead. 

Police were able to locate Rivas and he was booked into jail for 2nd degree murder.
