A man is in the hospital after he was accidently shot in Phoenix.
Phoenix police said two men were handling a gun near 15th Avenue and Camelback Road when it went off.
According to police, one of the men pointed the gun at the other man and did not think it was loaded.
The gun went off and a bullet hit the man in his shoulder area. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said treat every weapon as if it is loaded and never point a gun at anything you do not want to destroy.
