A man is recovering after being stabbed in a Walmart parking lot Tuesday afternoon.
Phoenix police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the store near 36th Street and Thomas Road.
Authorities say two men were fighting when one man stabbed the other.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Vince Lewis tells ABC15 the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect is being detained at this time.
Lewis said the investigation is ongoing.
