PHOENIX, AZ — An 8-year-old boy is fighting to survive being run over by his family's van Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened around 3:00 p.m. in the St. Vincent de Paul parking lot near 3rd Drive and Watkins Road, just south of I-17.
Authorities tell ABC15, the 8-year-old's family was at the charity receiving services. When they got in the van to leave, the boy was hit while he was still outside.

The victim is not being identified at this time.
