PHOENIX — A man on a bicycle was hit and killed early Thursday morning in Phoenix.
Police say the collision occurred near Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 3:15 a.m.
The bicyclist, only identified now as an adult man, was crossing Bethany Home Road when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.
He was taken to the hospital nearby where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver stayed on scene and impairment is not suspected in the crash.
