Power has been restored after tens of thousands were left without power after a monsoon storm Monday evening.
As of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, APS reported around 330 customers without power around the Phoenix metro area, down from approximately 80,000 customers in the immediate aftermath of the storm.
As of 10:30 p.m., SRP reported about 40 customers remained without service.
Workers for both utilities got to work immediately after the storm passed and worked through Tuesday to reconnect customers.
Our crews are still working diligently to restore power to our remaining ~1,600 customers primarily in the #Phoenix area. Much of the widespread power loss during last night's #monsoon storm was the result of high winds & downed trees. Thank you to everyone for your patience! pic.twitter.com/d5GtmISWor
