PHOENIX — A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Phoenix Wednesday night.
Phoenix police say a vehicle was making a left turn onto Grovers Avenue from 35th Avenue around 9:50 p.m. when it collided with a northbound motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, Randal Lichlyter, was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police say the other driver was not injured in the crash. The crash is still under investigation, but police say neither speed nor impairment appear to be factors.
