Officials say a woman who was crossing the street and the motorcyclist who hit her are both in the hospital after a crash late Friday night in Phoenix.
The crash occurred around 17th Street and McDowell around 11:30 p.m.
Phoenix Fire Department says the motorcyclist, a man in his thirties, was taken to a trauma center in critical condition.
The pedestrian, a woman in her twenties, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
