Men wanted in Connecticut slaying arrested in Phoenix

Two men being sought in connection with a weekend homicide in Willimantic, Connecticut have been apprehended in Phoenix.

Police said 24-year-old Juan Chach and 26-year-old Ignacio Chach-Aperez were arrested Tuesday. They are being held in custody at the Maricopa County Jail in Arizona. The two men share the same Connecticut address.

Police said they expect the men to be extradited to Connecticut to face charges in the Nov. 12 killing of Francisco Delazcruz-Coj. There is no date set yet for their return.

The men were apprehended by Homeland Security Agents and the Phoenix Police Department Fugitive Task Force.
