Three men have been arrested after an armed robbery spree and shooting in Phoenix Sunday morning.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, 21-year-old Jamiel Lawrence Williams, 26-year-old Andre Lamar Price, and 25-year-old Demaurie Davontae Juniel face multiple charges in connection to three consecutive armed robberies at convenient stores.

Police say officers responded to several calls regarding the three men who tried to rob stores along 27th Avenue from Dunlap to Missouri avenues after 4 a.m.

During each of the incidents, one of the men would enter a store armed with a handgun, point the gun at the clerk and demand the register to be opened.

Police say the men would collect money from the register and flee the store to a car that was then used to flee the scene.

In the second robbery, Williams reportedly used a gun to pistol-whip a victim and then fired a round, striking another victim in the store.

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.

After the men fled from the third robbery scene, officers located the men who were pushing their disabled vehicle near 27th and Missouri avenues.

The three were arrested and all face charges of armed robbery.
