PHOENIX — A Maricopa County Sheriff's Detention Officer accused of child molestation was taken into custody Monday.
MCSO was recently contacted by a man who said his son, now an adult, was molested as a child by Detention Officer Chad Swiman.
The victim reportedly said the abuse occurred multiple times between 2009 and 2013.
Swiman was arrested Monday on three counts of molestation of a child and three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
He was placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, MCSO says.
