One person was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out at an apartment complex in Phoenix overnight.
Phoenix Fire Department says flames damaged one unit of the single-story complex near 24th Street and Indian School Road.
A man was able to escape the burning apartment, but fire crews say he was transported for further medical evaluation.
His condition is not known.
