Police say a man isn't cooperating with an investigation after being shot in Phoenix.
Police were initially called to an apartment complex near Central Avenue and Baseline Road early Saturday morning after receiving reports about a shooting. Shortly after, a second call came in from a nearby location after a man was found with a gunshot wound, a police spokesperson said.
When officers arrived to the second location, they found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the upper leg, a police spokesperson said. It’s believed that the shooting stemmed from an attempted robbery at the first location.
According to Phoenix police, the victim was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK. However, police said he isn’t cooperating with the investigation so there was no information about the suspect.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and no names were released.
