PD: Man arrested for using hepatitis as a weapon

A homeless man was arrested on Wednesday, November 25th for using his own blood as a weapon during an assault.

Court documents show that 33-year-old Kenneth Michael Crow walked into a business on Central Avenue near McDowell Road and attempted to strike a victim with a pocket knife.

Crow then cut himself and smeared his own blood on another victim, telling the victim that he was infected with hepatitis.

Crow now faces two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
