Joe Arpaio is officially seeking a seventh term as sheriff of Maricopa County.
On May 13, Arpaio filed nomination petition signatures. He filed 10,500 signatures with the Maricopa County Recorder's Office; the minimum signatures required to qualify are 3,612.
Arpaio was elected as sheriff of Maricopa County for a sixth term back in November 2012. He was first elected to office in 1993.
