Women from around the world are gathering in Phoenix for the International Women's Summit.
The event is set to take place from May 4 through 7 at the downtown Phoenix Sheraton Grand.
Some of the leading women attending the event include Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of "Eat Pray Love", Melissa Harris-Perry of MSNBC, investigative journalist Lisa Ling, Kate Gallego, the vice mayors for Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe, and more.
