NOW: Ted Cruz holding rally in Phoenix

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will hold a rally Friday night in Phoenix.

The event is scheduled to be held at Arizona Christian University.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the rally at 7 p.m. Admission to the rally is free, but attendees must have a ticket to enter and they can be obtained online.

The Texas senator will be joined by former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina and conservative political commentator Glenn Beck at the rally.

Arizona's presidential preference election is Tuesday.

Perry will also stump for Cruz at a separate event earlier Friday in Tempe.

He will speak at 4 p.m. at Arizona State University's Pima Auditorium, inside the Memorial Union.

Cruz's previous campaign stop in the Phoenix metro area was in September.
