A fundraiser will be held on Wednesday for the Phoenix teen who was shot earlier this month while driving with his girlfriend near Sunnyslope High School.
The event for Tayler Maggi will go from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Spoke & Wheel at 8525 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix.
Maggi was shot April 14 near E. Alice and N. Central avenues.
The unidentified shooter, who fled the scene, was in a white Ford Mustang, according to Phoenix Police.
At a vigil last week, family said that Maggi remained unconscious at a hospital with his mother by his side.
