A 50-year-old Goodyear man who formerly worked at a federal prison camp for women has been sentenced to a year in prison after pleading guilty to having sexual contact with a female inmate.

James Toadvine Jr. was a recreational specialist at the facility in Phoenix when the conduct occurred in early 2015.

According to Toadvine's plea agreement, the conduct involved intentional touching of the inmate's breast with his hand.

U.S. District Judge Diane Humetewa sentenced Toadwine Monday.
