Police and fire crews responded to a crash that injured two children and four adults in central Phoenix Sunday afternoon.
According to fire officials, two vehicles were involved in an accident near 16th Street and Thomas Road shortly before 5 p.m.
A 37-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries; another 48-year-old woman, an 18-year-old woman, and a 27-year-old man received minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals as a precaution, officials say.
Five children were also involved in the crash, but officials said only two were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
