PHOENIX — A 3-year-old girl has died after being found unconscious in an apartment complex pool in Phoenix Monday evening.
When firefighters arrived at the complex near 24th Street and McDowell Road they found a bystander performing CPR on the young child.
It's unclear at this time how long the girl was underwater.
Firefighters say the child was transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition. Officials say she later died.
