PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating how and why a vehicle ended up on a sidewalk, hitting and injuring three pedestrians near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road early Thursday morning.
According to a spokesperson from the Phoenix Fire Department, first responders arrived on scene around 2:30 a.m. to find three patients injured after a vehicle drove up onto a sidewalk, hit the pedestrians, then drove away.
Two of the people hit sustained minor injuries, according to the fire department spokesperson. The third patient was transported to a trauma center in stable condition.
At this time, a vehicle and suspect description are not available.
