A family was displaced overnight after a fire ripped through the attic of their Phoenix home.
Phoenix Fire officials say a caller saw flames coming from the home near 2nd Avenue and Desert Lane and alerted firefighters.
Luckily, no one was injured, including five people and three dogs who lived at the home.
There is no word yet on what started the blaze.
After several house fires Saturday in the Valley, Phoenix Fire wants to alert people to keep up on home safety and smoke alarms, and avoid hazards, including candles and Christmas trees this time of year.
