A deadly motorcycle crash caused a closure of the I-17 southbound off-ramp at Greenway early Saturday morning. The I-17 and Bell Road intersection was also closed due to the crash.
The Department of Public Safety says a motorcyclist veered off the roadway and hit a barrier fence while driving. That motorcycle rider was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver has been identified as 39-year-old Derek Orgill of Phoenix.
DPS doesn’t believe any other vehicles were involved in the crash and says there’s been no indication that alcohol played a factor. Speed is still being investigated.
All roadways are reopened in the area.
