PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a deadly hit and run crash near 7th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Police were called to the area just before 12:00 midnight Friday.
When they arrived they found 55-year-old Randy Roberts lying in the road. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Phoenix police say Roberts was attempting to cross Indian School Road mid-block when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene.
