Ahead of the busy travel season, daily parking rates at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport are getting more expensive.
The higher rates took effect Wednesday. The daily rate for uncovered parking at the popular East Economy Parking Lot went from $9 to $12. Covered parking also increased from $11 to $14 per day.
Parking in the terminal garages have gone up to $26 or $27 per day depending on the lot.
