Police took one person into custody after a car rammed into a restaurant in central Phoenix on Friday evening.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, a car went through a wall of the Persian Garden Cafe near 16th Street and Thomas Road.

As a result of the impact, a table struck a customer at the restaurant. The person received minor injuries.
Police say the driver showed signs of impairment and was later cited with a DUI.
