The 11th annual "Flags for Our Fallen" event is welcoming family and friends honoring loved ones at the Veteran's National Cemetery of Arizona.

Approximately 400 American flags on 10-foot poles are lining Cave Creek Road leading to Pinnacle Peak Road at the entrance of the cemetery.

Each flag has a special ribbon attached with the names of the warriors who have given their lives in service to the country.

Riders USA is standing watch with their motorcycles, holding 'thank you' signs to welcome families and friends paying their respects.

The event started with just six bikers 11 years ago and has grown with each passing year.

"We'll probably have 250 plus bikes, we've got a lot of volunteers a lot of support. It's just gotten bigger and bigger every year and we're just honored to be able to do it to thank the families coming into the ceremony," said Riders USA Vice President Mike Sullivan.

The bikers' tribute leads up to the official Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery starting at 8:00 a.m.
