An Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections officer was arrested after punching an inmate, according to authorities.
Jail officials said John Williams admitted to assaulting the inmate on Thursday and was immediately fired from the job. He was subsequently arrested and booked into jail.
The juvenile is expected to be O.K. No further details were immediately available.
