Authorities are looking for person of interest in Phoenix shooting

Authorities are looking for a person of interest involved in an aggravated assault near 29th Avenue and Thomas Road in Phoenix.

On Thursday July 28, the suspect forced his way into an apartment with a handgun and shot the victim after a struggle to obtain the gun.

Police say the victim was a 54-year-old male who sustained serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.

The person of interest, possible suspect, is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8’’ to 5’11”, 30 to 45 years old, bald or shaved head, tattoos covering both arms, both lower legs, and below his neck.

He is described as wearing a white tank top and dark pants or shorts at the time of the incident. May also go by the nickname “6”.

Witnesses say left in a customized bicycle with a front white strobe light and a red rear light or reflector.

Any information pertaining to this incident should be reported to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

A reward of 1,000 dollars is being offered for any information that may lead to an arrest.
