Woman assaulted on ASU downtown Phoenix campus; suspect sought

Arizona State University Police are warning students after a woman was assaulted on the downtown Phoenix campus on Monday morning. 

According to ASU police, the incident happened near 2nd and Taylor streets around 10 a.m. 

A female student was reportedly assaulted by a suspect who then fled on foot. 

No weapons were used during the assault and no injuries were reported. 

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his early to mid-fifties. He is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build and salt-and-pepper hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark t-shirt, and shorts -- or as police describe as "runner style" clothing.
