Police are searching for a man who allegedly walked into the women's restroom in an Arizona State University building and was watching a woman over a bathroom stall.

On Tuesday, Feb. 7, police were called to the University Center on ASU's downtown Phoenix campus. 

According to the woman, a man was standing on a toilet in the stall next to her and peering over the wall. Once the woman spotted the man he left the restroom immediately after.

A witness told police the suspect left through the building's west exit towards Central Avenue.

The man is described as being a black male in his early 30s. He's about 5'4" with a thin build. He was carrying a backpack and was wearing a white T-shirt, tan pants and white sneakers.
