Amazon Treasure Truck offers Super NES in Phoenix

Hey Phoenix, have you seen the Amazon Treasure Truck in town?

Well, now is your chance to take advantage of its unique deals.

Amazon just parked the Treasure Truck in front of the Creamistry at 44th Street and Indian School Road in Phoenix.

Friday's offer is the Super NES: Classic Edition for $79.99. The classic gaming console went on sale nationwide on Friday.

Customers can pick up their offer from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.

The truck is essentially a "pop-up" flash sale of "hand-pick[ed]...new, trending, local or delicious items" that can be purchased only at the truck, according to Amazon's website.

It launched in February 2016 in Seattle, the website says.

The truck sells a specific item on each visit. Its whereabouts are sent out either through a text message or through the Amazon app. You can sign up for text alerts about the latest deals here.

The item can then be purchased through the app and picked up at the truck that day.

This is the first Treasure Truck offer in Phoenix, but Amazon says it will be the first of many for the Valley.

Amazon says customers can expect offers made just for the truck, including the latest technology, holiday gifts and even local food.

The Treasure Truck has already launched in select cities.
