PHOENIX — A 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix named Van Gogh, has beaten the odds and made a miraculous recovery from severe head injuries.

The Arizona Humane Society took Van Gogh in for the last two months after a Good Samaritan brought her in.

She was found in intense pain from head, neck, muzzle and body injuries at an auto body shop.

According AHS, there is no defined cause of her injuries. She received great care from AHS including surgery, bandages, infections, and dental work.

Van Gogh also learned how to trust humans again and got all the play time she could ever want in addition to a ton of treats.

She is now available for adoption and AHS recommends a quiet home for her with kids who are 10 years or older.

If you want to adopt Van Gogh or any of her friends, you can visit them at Arizona Humane Society's Campus for Compassion at 15th Avenue and Dobbins Road in Phoenix or visit their website at azhumane.org/adopt.
