PHOENIX — A body was found in a Phoenix canal by officers with the Phoenix Police Department.
Police responded to a call along the canal near 43rd and Peoria avenues early Tuesday morning.
Upon arriving, they found a body in the canal. The person's identity has not yet been released.
Police are investigating the scene and what led to the incident.
