Three people have died in a collision on State Route 347 at Riggs Road, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
Around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, a collision occurred on SR 347 that has shut down the roadway in both directions between Riggs Road and Interstate 10.
Further details are not available at the moment, however the Arizona Department of Transportation said the closure is expected to be extended.
SR 347 reopened between I-10 and Riggs just after 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the DOT.
The Gila River Police Department is investigating.
