PHOENIX — You know the saying, “cats have nine lives?” Well, this one is proving it.

The Arizona Humane Society has now placed this adorable 8-month-old tabby up for adoption after he experienced two life-threatening injuries.

Jinn was treated at the Humane Society after being stuck in a car engine and hit by a car earlier this month.

A Good Samaritan noticed that Jinn was stuck in a car engine, and was able to get him out. Once he was free, he ran into the road and was struck by a car.

He was then rushed to AHS' Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital.

The sweet kitten has since recovered and suffered no internal damage.

Jinn is up for adoption at AHS' Sunnyslope location near 13th Avenue and Hatcher Road.
